Welcome to ClaimXpress. We respect your privacy. This policy explains how our mobile application handles your data. ClaimXpress is designed to keep your financial data private and secure on your personal device.

2. Data Collection and Storage

ClaimXpress operates primarily as a local-first application.

• Local Storage: All receipts, images, claim history, and financial settings are stored locally on your device using secure local storage (AsyncStorage).
• No Server Uploads: We do not upload your receipt images, financial data, or claim details to any external servers.
• Firebase: We use Firebase solely for anonymous device registration to manage the 60-day free trial period and for future optional cloud backup features. No personal financial data is sent to Firebase.

3. Permissions We Request

• Camera: Required only to capture photos of physical receipts or vehicle odometers. Images are saved directly to your device's local app storage.
• Storage / Files: Required to save generated PDF claim forms and ZIP backup files to your device or external storage (e.g., Google Drive).
• Notifications: Used only to send local, on-device reminders for your self-set monthly claim cut-off dates and financial year-end resets.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not share, sell, or trade your personal or financial data with any third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.

5. Data Deletion

Because your data is stored locally, you have complete control. You can clear all app data via the app's "Clear Data" settings, or permanently delete all data by uninstalling the application from your device.
